Mary T. Gonzales, 96 of Pukalani, passed away at her home on January 8, 2017. She was born on April 16, 1920 in Little Rock, New Mexico. Private services were held at St. Joseph Church in Makawao. Mary was a candle maker. She retired from Knorr Beeswax Candle Shop in Del Mar California where she worked for 40 years. Yoshie Tsuida Higuchi, 98, of Kahului, passed away peacefully on January 12, 2017, surrounded by her loving family. Services honoring Mrs. Higuchi were held privately. John L. Kostrick, 71

John L. Kostrick, 71, passed away January 11, 2017. He was a former resident of Redford Township, Michigan, but has lived in Hawaii for almost 50 years. John was a diver in the Navy and served three tours in Vietnam. He then moved to Hawaii, working in the hotel industry and ended his career with the Maui County Water Department.
