Mrs. Satsue O. Kanechika, “Sachi,” to her family and close friends, of Kahului, died November 29, 2016 in Honolulu. She was born on April 25, 1924 in Wailuku, Maui to Haruyo & Kesajiro Ogawa. Satsue was predeceased by her husband, Kingo Kanechika, who was a veteran of the 442nd RCT, Company M. Also to have predeceased her were three older brothers, Masaji, Kesaji and Haruji Ogawa, and very recently, her younger brother, Masao Ogawa.
