William "Bill" Ponte of Piiholo, Maui, passed away peacefully on Aug. 11, 2024 at 82. Survived by his daughter and four sons, Bill is remembered for his military service, love of machinery, and storytelling. Funeral services will be at St. Joseph Church, Makawao, on Sept. 9, with viewing at 9 a.m. and Mass at 11 a.m.

Jane is survived by her children, Lee (Cindy), Connie (Jenai), and Dean (Jennie); 10 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. Her sister Alice Tobita, and many nieces and nephews.
