It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of Rufina Andres Abut, who peacefully transitioned into the heavens on July 1st, 2024, at the age of 87. Born on February 28, 1937, in Binalonan, Pangasinan, Philippines. In 1957, Rufina immigrated to the island of Molokai, where she lived with her late husband, Fernandico Abut. A devout Catholic since childhood, Rufina continued to embrace her faith throughout her life in Hawaii, passionately teaching religious education on the friendly isle.
