Two-lane, undivided Hana Highway has 55 mph limit
Referring to an Oct. 12 correspondent’s comment of the absurdity of the same (45 mph) speed limit for the Maui Veterans Highway (formerly Mokulele Highway) as for Kaahumanu Avenue in front of Baldwin High School, I offer you a more absurd comparison: the 55 mph limit — that’s five five — on the two-lane, undivided Hana Highway east of the Haleakala Highway intersection.
