The current temporary occupant of our White House continued his tirade of nonsensical utterances by whining that no one blamed President Obama for the Sandy Hook massacre of schoolchildren. This was Twitterholic's response to President Obama's unifying message to reject language from any of our leaders which feeds a climate of fear and hatred or normalizes racist sentiments. He stated such speech has no place in our politics and public life and it is time for all of us to say so.
Instead of endorsing this wisdom, we get the absurd false equivocation which ignores reality from this divisive dullard. Funny, I don't recall President Obama spending several years vilifying and demonizing 5- and 6-year-old children before they were slaughtered with a high-powered weapon of war. Nor, do I recall him laughing at a rally when someone shouted "shoot them."
The tariff king observed: "President Obama had 32 mass shooting during his reign." Besides being irrelevant, this line is a startling reveal. A "reign" is the term during which a sovereign rules, coming from the Latin word "rex," meaning king. This is clearly how the reality television host sees our presidential office. A democratic leader serves the people for the term of his office, he does not have a "reign." It is past time to rein in this puppet of Putin.
