As usual, Big Brother USA is “shaping public opinion” by ignoring the inconvenient fact that the Dayton shooter was a left-wing Antifa “gun control” nut job (The Maui News, “Today’s Editorial,” Aug. 6).

He thought if he went on a senseless (but highly sensationalized) killing rampage, the country would ban guns and he would be a hero to the left.

Should we blame Bernie Sanders or Elizabeth Warren for the Dayton shooter as we have seen the blame for the El Paso shooter be placed at the feet of the president?

The Maui News is part of the problem. It’s slightly liberal (but basically moderate) editorial stance is the same type of “mindless entertainment” we’ve been subjected to 24/7 by the “liberal media” over the past three years.
