Unfair method of choosing who gets housing assistance

Very unfair way of choosing who is getting into the county First Time Home Buyers Down Payment Assistance Program -- and who waits on list.

In Hawaii, the lottery word in itself is dirty. Why were these applications not chosen first come, first served by U.S. mail postmark?

Sounds like a political mayor's office scam again, and the mayor's picture in the paper on the front page (Sept. 9).
