Time has come for some of many outlandish ideas

1 min read

Did we really land on the moon? Should we use injection wells and settle this matter locally, before it ends up in the Supreme Court?

Maui has an exotic diversity of opinions. As a child I had a poster which said, "Those of you who think you know everything are annoying to those of us who do." Appropriately, I have been called a know-it-all.

On Maui I am in good company. You have people who believe we landed on the moon, and people who believe the government photoshopped this great leap for mankind. Some people believe the government has been hiding aliens in Area 54. And we have people here who believe they have invented a perpetual motion machine, which would generate an infinite amount of free energy.

We have thought of many outlandish ideas. I have promoted the idea of creating Mauitopia for the last decade. (For a full description, download for free the pamphlet at mauitopia.org). Unprecedented in history, it is another bizarre idea whose time has come. In Mauitopia there would be no violent crime, we would all be free to do what we love, and we would all live aloha.
