Swamp politics hinder effective government

Why does our country spend so much money on a feckless U.S. Congress? The U.S. House impeached President Trump and it took them 25 days to deliver the articles to the Senate. Due to having a majority of Republicans in the Senate, the trial will likely amount to much ado about nothing, as the Senate will find him not guilty.

Another wasteful example is passing a nonbinding war powers resolution not allowing the president to retaliate against Iran for the 15 cruise missiles they sent at our military base in Iraq. That was in retaliation for us killing their Gen. Soleimani, a terrorist leader responsible for the killing of 600 Americans. Lucky we live Hawaii! No terrorism here!

In 2009 I wrote the pamphlet, or mini book, “Creating Mauitopia: Making Maui a Real Paradise” (updated edition available for free at mauitopia.org).

To create the society of the future, we need to have a government of the future. We want a government without swamp politics which manages effectively.

It will promote the creation of Mauitopia. A society of the future with no violent crime, where everyone would do what they love, and we would all live aloha.

I would love to be the mayor someday and draw upon my management consulting experience worldwide to help the county get unexpected results.
