After much thought, I will back Joe Biden for president. We all will make the decision in our upcoming primary on who will be our candidate and Biden is a known quantity.
Think about the fact that Trump has completely eviscerated the entire federal government. Who else has the extraordinary level of connections where they could hire two to three thousand people they either directly know or can bring in to massively infuse our government with good people?
We have lost untold amounts of dedicated professionals who had spent their lives making sure that our government worked. Those positions have to be filled once again with high-quality people immediately when Trump is gone.
Joe Biden is the only one that has that level of connections to be able to bring people in. If you take a look, the first thing he said was that mayor Pete and the others will be part of his administration helping him to take care of things. He's a very smart man and knows when to bring people in.
He's a man who has the capacity to surround himself with extraordinarily good people. That's important. You know who he is. The other thing is down ballot, someone like Bernie would be a terrible risk that we would lose the House of Representatives and absolutely not get the Senate.
With Joe, it's exactly the opposite. We may end up with the presidency, the Senate and the House strongly in the Democratic side with Joe at the top.
