We warned them; we pointed out the very serious flaws in his character -- the corruption, the lies, the mistreatment of women, the narcissism, and now we see the result of his inability to be either a decent human being and leader and or more importantly, compassionate.
Forget the politics, focus on the man and his character! We sink into economic and medical chaos, much of it to blame on an incompetent man, hoisted up by cultists and sycophants, now trapped by his lies and unable to extract themselves because of shame, ignorance and/or an inability to think and/or act, or separate fact from opinion.
It will take years to correct the horrific damage this man and his cronies have inflicted on the nation, and I, for one, can really never forgive the people who enabled and or ignored with silence this evolving disaster. I am 75 and hope to live long enough to see a restoration of ethical, compassionate government.
