MAGA. In a rather unique way, Trump has significantly invigorated a national protest movement in a truly great American tradition, almost surpassing the 1960s years of civil unrest.
Beginning with his horrific immigration policies and Muslim ban, then caging children and separating them from their families, his 18,000 lies and constant grandstanding, along with his continuing unrelenting narcissism and almost complete lack of leadership and management of the current pandemic and racial protest, we see a president hunkered and bunkered down in a dark, double-walled White House compound, a captive of his own words and incompetence.
Forget his policies and politics; behold the man and his almost complete isolation from the nation and with all the people he is meant to guide in such times.
Trapped in the skin of his own ego, he flails about casting blame and vitriol on all in his way and is sadly unable to connect with and/or soothe the souls of so many Americans.
Thank you, Mr. Trump, for waking up the passions, desires and aspirations of most decent law-abiding Americans, brought to their feet and now on the streets because of your incompetence, lack of empathy and your inability to perform the duties and responsibilities of the American presidency as a decent, honest man.
