As I sat here watching the services for Mr. George Floyd, the tears flowed down my face and my heart ached for this man and his beautiful strong family.
And yet through the sadness and heartbreak, I am inspired by the power of love. The love from people of all faiths and skin colors, the coming together to overcome hate and racial divide, the growing awareness of our human connections and the reality that we are all one raises up my spirit and frees my soul.
I say thank you God almighty and thank you George for your death will not be in vain and your memory will remain, and my prayer is that the light of truth will shine down on each and every one of us, and that people will stop this vicious cycle of bigotry and finger pointing and putting whole races of people in boxes and understand that there has always been some who stray with hearts filled with hate.
But let us not make the mistake of doubling down on that hatred, but instead embrace the love within and nurture its bloom. We are all one until Earth be done. Peace love prayers and blessings to all.
