I vote to shut down our economy (Letters, May 30) once a year for the month of November. Nothing much happens in November anyway, except our General Elections, Veteran's Day and Thanksgiving. While October has Halloween and September has "Zeptember" (the Led Zeppelin tribute).
June, July and August is the busy summer season.
The hectic winter season starts in December and runs through April.
That leaves May, but we have May Day and Lei Day then.
