Teachers doing all they can to guide students’ learning

Maui teachers are successfully meeting the challenge of virtual learning! We are doing the best we can with the situation we find ourselves in! Maui High School administration and faculty have organized an incredible week introducing distance learning for our returning students. Together we will celebrate the learning victories and try to minimize the struggles.

For our first quarter and with careful consideration, some teachers have been approved to distance teach from home. This letter is to anyone who senses a teacher teaching virtually from home feels less teaching responsibility to our students than the teacher working virtually in the classroom. A teacher's heart, a teacher's mind commits sincere dedication to the learning success and connectivity with our students wherever we are teaching. Teaching virtually is a challenge; yet, teaching virtually is a vital necessity for the safety of our community. To Maui, thank you for your support and know teachers are doing everything in our power to guide the learning success of your children.

Sending positivity.
