If mayor can’t do job, elect someone who can

For a number of years, residents have expressed deep concern about overtourism and the negative effect it has on our environment and quality of life.

After the onset of COVID-19, widespread agreement was reached that we don’t want to go back to the way things were pre-pandemic – a new normal was to be achieved.

Now that vaccinations against COVID-19 are increasing in numbers with an end to the pandemic in sight, exactly what specific policies, programs and concrete steps has the mayor led and undertaken to deliver this promised new normal?

Is there a plan? A timeline for action? Are there specific milestones and goals to be achieved?

Will the effect of these things be measured with results reported to the voting public? If this administration can’t get the job done, we need to elect a mayor who can.
