Why is it that our politicians and water director are not addressing and fixing our continuous water shortages?
Every year, there are increases in salaries for these people running our county, and increases for the people in taxes and fees, but the water problem is not being addressed!
When will the money be allocated to make a new reservoir Upcountry, tap existing unused natural springs or do whatever it requires to increase the capacity of our water catchment systems?
Why is our water director not addressing this situation and working with the mayor and council to ensure that we the people do not have to continue suffering every year with water restrictions?
This is what we pay their salaries for! Providing us with adequate water should be a priority!
Speak up, people of Maui, to have them address and fix this water problem or don't vote for them again!
