‘Me’ more important than whole of society?
What we are witnessing with the anti-vaccine attitudes was more than a generation in the making.
Our country has successfully raised a generation of spoiled, entitled brats who cannot admit a moron lost the presidency and believe that politics takes precedence over safe health measures during a pandemic.
They were raised feeling that “me me me” is more important than the whole of society. Hence, what we are now witnessing is the implosion of the United States.
As the comic strip character in the 1950s’ Pogo comic strip proclaimed, “We have met the enemy and he is us.”
