Beware of cancel culture, rush to judgment and group think! Society has gone too far to ruin the careers of too many for the wrong reasons.

We used to debate issues. We must get back to intelligent discussions.

People who support damning someone for intelligent debates because of that opinion not being on “my side” are forgetting the founding principles our republic was based on. That is not patriotic!

I read Dr. Pang’s statement; health issues/science are not political. The COVID-19 crisis is an ongoing work in progress.

If something is being experimented with as a potential cure, let it play out in the research and not in intimidating or canceling someone who approaches it with a level head.

School boards across the county are losing their volunteer members over fear of being threatened with harm because they want to protect their charges with mask mandates. We all lose by such immature, uninformed and intimidating behavior.

Unless evidence surfaces that Dr. Pang actually did something unethical, then let the debate continue. Guilt by association, is not guilt!

Dr. Pang has been a more valuable resource to our community than 95 percent of everyone else, including politicians. He protected us against dengue fever with quick-thinking expertise.

Do not let hot-headed cancel culture, red vs. blue zealots, make our decisions for us. Support Dr. Pang and let him continue to protect our community.
