I was in the U.S. Army for 10 years. I was serving with a lot of Vietnam vets. They told me you cannot say all veterans are the same.
They told me the frontline veterans are the real heroes, unlike other veterans. Infantry, armor, artillery, special forces, Green Berets, combat engineer units, just to name a few, are the troops who are real heroes.
They are the ones did all the fighting and had a high casualty rate. They will never be forgotten.
