Jury duty confusing, borders on harassment
I recognize and agree that one of our civic duties is to be receptive to subpoena for jury duty.
The problem I have with the Maui court system is being repeatedly summoned, having to rearrange my itinerary, only to find out two days prior to my required appearance that the trial has been either canceled or postponed to a date two months further, which requires an additional itinerary adjustment.
This borders on harassment.
Despite COVID, which is in retreat, we deserve better.
If your confusion results in our confusion, it’s your fault, not ours. Any judge would agree.
