Kihei Community Association hosts a mayoral candidates forum at 6:30 p.m. May 17 on https://facebook.com/kihei .community.association/live.
In addition, the video will be available afterward at www.gokihei.org as well as on Akaku Maui Community Media, until election day.
Eight pulled papers, but only four of them filed. Following our practice dating back to the last century, we will quiz them about district concerns, which are affected by administration decisions.
Also, as always, our meetings are open to all, even if you are not a member, so you are encouraged to "be there" as we all can have a voice in selection of the Maui County mayor.
This will be our first 2022 candidate forum; our next forum will be on July 19.
KCA represents all South Maui. We are an unfunded, all-volunteer, nonprofit organization, and all the benefits are available to the community.
