Maybe I am the one that is stupid, but I have to ask.
We have 10,000 people a day crossing into our country illegally, over 100,000 deaths just this year from fentanyl, a humanitarian crisis with more coming every day, including known gang members, rapists and child molesters.
We have now spent a total of $100 million of taxpayer money securing the border of Ukraine and not one extra dollar to secure our own border.
Both Republicans and Democrats tell us this is their number-one priority, yet inflation and a crumbling economy is destroying the middle class.
So, my question is exactly how is this war benefiting the folks who foot the bill for this stupidity?
Am I the only one that sees this insanity?
Medicare will face a $27 billion shortfall, yet they can claim in the name of democracy we need to send billions of unaccountable money to Ukraine?
I guess maybe I really am stupid. I thought they were supposed to look out for us.
