America does not owe anybody anything

Here we go again: an earthquake in Turkey and Syria, and America is sending aid that is costing our country millions of dollars.

When in America, when we have a natural disaster, we get very little help from foreign countries, especially Turkey and Syria.

Yet, when there is a natural disaster in other countries, they expect help from America.

Why do we keep helping other countries, but when we have a natural disaster, we get very little aid?

Many of these foreign countries think America owes them something. America does not owe anybody anything.
