Fiasco avoided if complied with Land Use Commission

Let me get this straight: the state Department of Education and Department of Transportation says it will take about five years to construct a simple overpass over Piilani Highway.

What an inept bunch of idiots.

The Empire State Building was erected in 14 months and the Golden Gate Bridge was completed in just over three years.

All those worthless bureaucrats could have avoided this fiasco if they had simply complied with the state Land Use Commission requirement that they have known about for 10 years.

Instead, they foisted that completely unnecessary roundabout on us against our wishes.

They should all be fired, and the roundabout removed at their own expense.

In the interim, the school should remain unopened.
