Praise for attempt at editorial balance

A few weeks ago, I wrote about my frustration with the leftist bias of The Maui News (a bias driven largely by Associated Press and most mainstream media).

I had several people tell me since then that they agreed with me. However, I want to thank you for what seems to be your attempt to offer balance.

This is especially apparent in this weekend's cartoon and the viewpoint by Erick Erickson ("The inconvenient gun deaths," April 1-2). Both have themes that people like me agree with and want to see publicized by the media.

Please keep this up and thank you.
