I very much enjoyed the Doobie Brothers concert on May 2. However, I found offensive the discriminatory MACC policy of selling only beer and wine to the bulk of ticket holders, while top-tier ticket holders were able to purchase cocktails.
I would have bought one or two vodkas, but beer and wine give me a hangover. Even one of those beverages leaves me feeling poorly the next day.
It appears the MACC is in favor of dividing Mauians into elites and plebians based on ticket price.
This is offensive and discriminatory. Honestly, it's insulting.
MACC needs to rescind this policy.
