I am sorry someone felt compelled to call me names, but as a staunch supporter of our president, I am thankful for this opportunity to innumerate some of the reasons I support Joe Biden.
For starters, he is the exact opposite of the lying, treasonous, sex molesting, narcissistic sociopath he beat in the last election.
He turned our government on its head so that once again we are leading a resurgent NATO alliance against Russian aggression.
They said it couldn't be done, but Joe got massive legislative packages through Congress so our country can once again build and repair roads, bridges and water lines. He got us back on track so we will not be overrun by the Chinese juggernaut. He got us facing the reality of climate change again, the same existential threat that the orange one declared a "Chinese hoax."
Politically, Joe has given master classes: The 2022 mid-term election was projected to result in a tsunami of Republican red. He beat them back. No president since FDR has done better at mid-term. That's going back 88 years.
This year, House Republicans attempted to hold the country hostage to far-right ideology via the debt-ceiling approval process. Joe played it perfectly, and when the dust settled, some of the same liberal policies that were on the Republican chopping block were improved instead.
Bottom line: Joe has beaten the orange one and he can do it again.
