As a retired Maui County EMT, I have been very interested in the recent stories and letters regarding the ambulance services.
I am puzzled to continue reading that AMR has been providing services for 44 years.
When I was still working, we were employed by International Life Support and a simple internet search returns the information that AMR was founded in 1991.
The arithmetic is simple: 32 years in business, beginning in Colorado.
