‘Aspirational’ sentiments disgusting and terrifying

The spectacle of tens of thousands of U.S. university students marching and shouting "From the river to the sea," and some members of Congress applauding this genocidal chant with the pathetic excuse that these sentiments are just "aspirational," is both disgusting and terrifying.   

I suspect that 80 years ago these same people would have told us that Lebensraum, Deutschland Uber Alles and Arbeit Macht Frei were also just "aspirational slogans."  

Tell that to the 6 million Jews, 3.3 million Russians, 1.8 million Poles, 500,000 Gypsies, 300,000 people with disabilities including children, and the tens of thousands of gays and other minorities who were exterminated.
