I just got a $350 charge from a Kaanapali hotel because an empty pack of cigarettes filled with butts was in the rubbish in my room.

They tried to claim that I was witnessed smoking on my balcony. I went down and explained that I had never once opened the doors to the balcony because of my companion animal.
It seemed like they verified that the door had not been opened. Suddenly, security wouldn't show up to explain themselves.
