I'm really interested in this Bill 131 regarding property taxes and housing fire victims. It's a shame all the news coverage does not provide a link to the text of the bill.
I'm literally on the Maui County Council's horribly designed website searching "Bill 131" and cannot find it, nor does a Google search yield results.
The most basic way to decide something is to first read what we're deciding on. Please, Maui News, provide a public service by referencing where residents can actually read this bill.
I did finally find the bill, but it took a lot of logging in and clicking. I am in my forties. I can only imagine how someone less computer literate would struggle.
