Human beings seem to possess an intuitive, innate or heartfelt sense or belief in a presence, principle or person that pervades all things and beings with its grace or energy.
We also have an intense desire or aspiration to become more perfect; to find truth and joy; and to seek, find, follow and become the path to immortality.
But why the origin of origins set in motion this powerful and vastly extended thrust of evolution which has led to us remains a mystery. No philosopher, cleric, pope, mystic, saint, scientist or avatar truly knows.
In fact, their paradigmatic explanations for our presence in this immense, mysterious universe seem childish. While their denial of an unimaginably puissant and conscious force, energy or thoughtful plan, which initiated the evolution of matter, mind, life and delight, seems ridiculous and maybe prompted by fear.
When a scientist speaks of a chance or random Big Bang, one can almost hear the laughter of higher beings echoing through the vastness of space.
Or when humans declare themselves to be the only conscious beings inhabiting planets or multitudinous stars or galaxies, many immaterial and highly conscious, but formless beings must flame or flare their fieriness communicating among themselves their good humor.
Vain, arrogant and poorly informed earthlings, huddled on the crust of a small, distant, imperiled and unnecessary planet, are the clowns or ironies of the universe.
