Reconsider cancellation of adult water aerobics
Reassess cancelation the adult deep water aerobics class at Kihei Aquatics Center.
There is absolutely no reason for the cancellation.
The regular contingent of swimmers and water aerobics participants are Maui taxpayers. There are many of us with physical conditions that find swimming and/or water aerobics the only form of exercise our bodies can tolerate.
If healthcare professionals are polled, you’d find universal acceptance of this form of exercise, especially for kupuna.
Over 120 participants signed a petition asking reinstatement of the class, yet the wishes of the community are being ignored.
