We want equipment, aerobics teacher back

1 min read

Deep Water Aerobics has been on hiatus since December. There has been no communication with the pool community.

The county pool director has instituted a new policy that it must be taught by a volunteer? No transparency, no change in the lifeguard's job description.

It is a disservice to the community to end this program. The numbers of attendees per month range from 200 to 650, for a class three hours a week.

The benefits of the class have been touted in several letters. Maintaining one's health, increased flexibility, feelings of overall wellbeing. Why are the pool patrons being punished so?

Several try to exercise on their own, but it is a challenge without the aqua belts.

All we want is our equipment and our teacher back.

Apparently, it is too much to ask.
