I applaud our collective good fortune. In 5,000 years of recorded human history, no country, no kingdom, no society on earth has ever experienced an economy like America enjoys right now.
This economic giant is still expanding, strengthening. Anyone whining about inflation, not having enough money or feeling left behind, or other economic gripes needs to take personal inventory.
Jobs are plentiful; wages are up; stock markets are regularly soaring to new heights; economic opportunities abound. More millionaires and billionaires are being created now than ever before.
People from all over risk their lives to get to this country, just for a minimum wage job and the opportunities beyond that steppingstone.
One laughable part of this has been the endless talk of the recession that's coming, which gloom-and-doomers have predicted for two years. They've been absolutely dead wrong.
Inflation has been real; a major cause of higher prices was the COVID-19 epidemic that disrupted global trade, inflating prices worldwide. But America's economy rebounded far quicker than any of the world's advanced economies, and inflation has steadily eased.
The other big cause of inflation were tariffs imposed on Chinese goods by Donald Trump. China supplies a huge chunk of goods sold in America, and Trump's tariffs ensured Americans would pay higher prices. Thanks, Donald.
And thank goodness for three and a half years of solid economic policies by the Biden administration for making America's economy great again. Vote Biden Nov. 5.
