Letter: Child sex assault worse trauma to be endured

2 min read

Try as I may, I can't truly imagine the depths of hell it must be to have a power outside oneself that could force anyone to endure and experience a traumatic reality where one's life is turned upside down and traumatized.

To me, the evilest of all is a child who has experienced one of the most frightening acts when her body was used by another person against her will, just because he was more powerful than her.

Then she's forced to let the seed this evil scum left to germinate within her for almost a year, which is a lot longer feeling timeframe when you're young than it is when you're older.

It's from the depths of evil and yet it's allowed, even demanded.

Where's the compassion? It also opens the doors for men who would never be allowed by free will to enter a women's body to pass on their DNA, and thus in a sick way encourage more of these assaults.

That's the real sin, right there. Makes one believe there is such a thing as a Satan, and lots of them are apparently in the Republican Party.

It's essential to advocate for systemic changes that protect individuals from such atrocities, support survivors, and promote a culture of empathy and accountability.

Engaging in these discussions can help raise awareness and contribute to a more just and compassionate society. It's vital to continue these conversations to promote healing and prevent future harm.
