Letter: Who will end up paying the price?
University of Colorado head coach Deion Sanders has a famous saying, “I keep receipts.”
He is referring to people saying negative things about him and the Colorado football team.
This presidential election was brutal. There were some very negative statements made about Trump. Now, he will be president, with a Republican house and senate majority.
I hope Trump and Congress does keep receipts on what people said during this election.
The U.S. president is a very powerful person. You have to consider what could be the consequences if you say negative things about him and who will end up paying the price.
