Letters: It is a year later and so few houses
Is there a particular reason the government is inflicting so much pain?
Why are people not back in houses? You could have brought in a 3-D printer and printed houses that were fire and hurricane tolerant; less impact and greater value.
Yet here it is a year later and so few houses. Perhaps you need to talk to Kauai; they figured out how to get their people back in houses.
Please explain the slow walk. Is it so that big money swoops in for prime real estate after everyone has been exhausted?
I called the mayor’s office wondering why reconstruction didn’t have more protections, and he replied that it would need legislation.
Why are you not out in front making sure future generations are safer than previous ones?
We would be strong if you would get out of the way.
Stop exhausting us.
