Letter: Airport speed bumps could, should be fixed
I totally agree with the letter (week of Feb 13-19) concerning speed bumps
at Kahului Airport.
For those first-time tourists to Maui who rent a car, they have no clue as to how dangerous those speed bumps are.
They can not only damage your car, but also hurt the people inside the vehicle.
I know they are trying to slow traffic, but these are a bit on the ridiculous side.
These speed bumps could and should be fixed.
At the very least, signs warning “dangerous speed bump” should be posted before each one.
