Big mahalo to Hale Mahaolu, as they assume/incorporate this property as part of their continued good works in supporting the residents of Lahaina, both retired and employed families who qualify for assistance.

Along with the request and assurance of buried utility lines, two entrance/exit passageways from this property and rehousing those who were previously displaced by the tragic fire event, we must yet honor our Historical District.

There must not be allowances to building height. That is how it starts.

It has been proposed to add a third level to Front St. Apts. This must not be allowed. The past low rise of two stories invites sea breezes to circulate and help cool Lahaina, which is known for its high temperatures.

Adding a third floor opens the door to others doing the same, leading to a growing small city within Lahaina.

Please, contact Hale Mahaolu housing and request the same: No third level. It must be stopped before it starts, as this is how it begins.
