Letter: No garbage cans, pet waste containers at Wailuku park
We have noticed that there are no garbage cans and/or pet waste containers at Wells Park in Wailuku.
This is a busy park with tennis courts and ball fields, and is also used by Iao School students during weekdays.
Why then are there no trash cans in the ball areas? School kids and ballfield users have to walk to the tennis courts to throw trash away and the one can by the bathroom is often overflowing.
Any chance for some additional cans in the ball field/school area for school and park users to share? Pet waste bins too, please.
