In December 1994, I came across an interesting book in an old, dusty, secondhand bookstore.
It looked unusual, felt unusual, and the writing was obviously from a very high consciousness. The author was either Chinese or Tibetan.
Reading it, one realized that the author was able to capture one's breath and make one feel as if he were reading not only between the lines, but directly within the consciousness of the author.
One page instructed the reader not to bring the small volume, written many years earlier, to the "bazaar," indicating to me that the book was not for everyone.
In another place, I was very interested to read something that changed the course of my life, and seems to have relevance today and for the past five years or so.
I was informed that because over the following uncounted decades, unusually subtle energies would come to Earth, energies that humans would not use properly, and an unexpected health emergency would develop.
It seems that the subtle energies unused would "turn against" us and create what the author termed "fiery fevers." These fevers would be treated by established medicine without success, because their cause would remain beyond general understanding and standard medical practice.
I thought of this when COVID broke out, and now again with the so-called "super flu" and a seeming emergence on Maui of "bacterial pneumonia" brought by holiday tourists.
