Letter: Very sad time for our country, for all of us
We are witnessing the worst and most successful deception of our time.
Political leaders, media outlets, and social media have helped to convince a large percentage of the population to fear diversity more than racism, equality more than misogyny, democracy more than fascism, immigrants more than authoritarians, empathy more than cruelty, and the poor more than corrupt billionaires.
It’s a very sad time for our country, for all of us.
