Road washouts in Kula still serious problem

So, we are about to start the third calendar year that the two major road washouts in Kula continue to be a serious problem. One is on Kekaulike between Waiakoa Road and Alae Road. This is a state highway, but the blinking lights on the cement barriers don’t even work. The other one is a county road, by Rice Park. Also, lights not working. Pets cause problems in rentals

The article (The Maui News, Dec. 7) regarding the bill that may be passed on soon stated a problem for the fire victim mentioned is that she has two dogs. I urge support for the ERA Now resolution (H.J. Res. 82) to direct the Archivist of the United States to certify and publish the Equal Rights Amendment as the 28th Amendment of the United States Constitution. Gender does not have the same legal protection as other constitutional classes, such as race, religion, or nationality. This constitutional double standard means that hard-won legislative and court victories against sex discrimination are not permanent and can be rolled back or difficult to enforce.
