Kiffmann Taekwondo takes 24 gold medals
Reynaldo Segundo of Kiffmann Taekwondo won gold medals in qualifier sparring, exhibition sparring and forms in the black-belt 12-14 age division at the USA Taekwondo state championships on Saturday at Waipahu, Oahu.
In the ultra division, two Kiffmann athletes won golds in qualifier sparring and forms – black belt Gunter Kiffmann and red-belt Cassie Kepler. Jaime Kahookele won golds in qualifier and exhibition sparring in blue-belt 15-17. Lydia Tan won qualifier sparring and forms gold in 8-9 green belt.
In the black-belt 10-11 division, TJ Papagayo won gold in forms and silver in qualifier sparring, and Jerico San Agustin won gold in qualifier sparring and silver in forms.
Camryn Henry won 15-17 black-belt gold in qualifier sparring and silver in exhibition sparring.
Patrick Arcano won 15-17 blue-belt gold in qualifier sparring and silver in exhibition sparring.
In the yellow-belt 10-11 division, Shaya Lustman won gold in qualifier sparring and silver in forms, and Chad Kanada won gold in forms and silver in qualifier sparring.
Anisha Patterson won qualifier sparring gold and forms bronze in the 12-14 green-belt division.
Also winning qualifier sparring golds were Miles Kiffmann (black belt 18-32), Kathryn Kiffmann (black belt ultra), Imelda Castro (black belt ultra), Jaden Pladera (red belt 10-11), Kaiya Baisa (blue belt 10-11) and Kayla Baisa (blue belt 8-9).
Deven Bio won a silver medal in black-belt 15-17 qualifier sparring.
