Georgetown pulled off the first upset of this year’s Maui Jim Maui Invitational by defeating Oregon 65-61 on Monday in a first-round game at the Lahaina Civic Center.

The Hoyas will face Wisconsin on Tuesday in a semifinal game — the 13th-ranked Badgers beat Tennessee 74-62 in the opening game, improving to 3-1.

No. 5 North Carolina took sole possession of the tournament wins record with victory No. 16, beating Chaminade 104-61. The Tar Heels, who had shared the mark with Duke, will next play Oklahoma State, a 98-90 winner over Connecticut.
