Maui Invitational ticket sale update

Several tickets included in next week’s on-island ticket sale for this year’s Maui Jim Maui Invitational must be bought as a two-game package, the men’s college basketball tournament has announced.

Tickets for the tournament — set for Nov. 25-27 at Lahaina Civic Center — will go on sale Sept. 27-28 at four locations across the island: the Grand Wailea Resort, Hi-Tech Surf Sports in Kahului and The Snorkel Store locations in Kihei and Lahaina.

The sale includes a pair of two-game packages for $32 per package: the consolation semifinals on Nov. 26, and the fifth- and seventh-place games on Nov. 27. Tickets for these games will not be sold individually.

As previously reported, tickets for first-day games and the third-place game are $89 a game, while the semifinals and championship game are $110 a game.
