Love leads King Kekaulike to sweep of Baldwin

Earl Love had 15 kills and six blocks, and the King Kekaulike High School boys volleyball team swept past Baldwin 25-16, 25-18, 25-16 on Tuesday night at Jon Garcia Gym in Wailuku.
Na Alii improved to 4-7 and, by winning the season series over the Bears (4-8) 2-1, also clinched the No. 3 seed for next week's Maui Interscholastic League Division I tournament. King Kekaulike will face No. 2 Lahainaluna in the semifinals next Tuesday at Maui High.
Avery Pauole had eight kills and Brody Reformina added two kills and two blocks Tuesday to lead Baldwin. With their regular season wrapped up, the Bears next face the Sabers in the tournament's 4/5 match Monday at Baldwin.
Also on Tuesday, Lahainaluna improved to 8-3 with a sweep of Maui High 25-21, 25-19, 25-16, while Molokai downed Lanai 25-11, 25-14, 25-21 in MIL Division II play at "The Barn" in Hoolehua.
